You'll then build on this broad knowledge base with studies in the growing specialist area of mental health practice. You'll learn the latest evidence-based research and specialised knowledge about health services for people with mental illness. You'll collaborate with consumers, carers, and mental health professionals in your studies so that you're prepared for a profession in various settings where mental health knowledge is essential. When undertaking the Master of Mental Health Practice, students will be able to complete either a Dissertation stream or Practice stream. Students completing the Dissertation stream will complete a research dissertation on an area of interest in the mental health field.
