This program is only available to Griffith University staff.The aim of the Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching is to enable you to be an effective and successful University educator. This Graduate Certificate program will support you in the development of learning and teaching capabilities that lead to transformation of your practice.The program consists of four core courses. All courses are practice-based and explore contemporary ideas, research and pedagogies in university learning and teaching. A capstone course (Transforming Learning and Teaching Practice) will provide you with the opportunity to conduct, evaluate and disseminate a scholarly learning and teaching inquiry relevant to your discipline or practice context.As a graduate, you will be well placed to contribute to the scholarship of learning and teaching in your School, the University and your discipline.NOTE: This year (2022) 7031LFC and 7032LFC will not be offered. Instead you can complete the Teaching for Learning program (TfL) which is equivalent to 7031LFC and Curriculum Design for Learning Program (CDL) which is equivalent to 7032LFC.You will then be able to apply for credit and enter the GCULT program in Trimester 1, 2022 and enrol in 7033LFC. In Trimester 2, 2022 you can then enrol and complete 7034LFC to complete the program. If you have previously completed either TfL or CDL and have completed the assessment (to gain your AFEA) then you will be able to use this towards a credit for 7031LFC or 7032LFC.Please do not hesitate to contact the Program Director with any questions.
