This program provides training for people who wish to help to make society more sustainable. It also provides opportunities for those who want to move into more senior management positions. Students will develop the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, to contribute to policy-making processes and to run environmental management systems.

Entry Requirements:

Bachelor degree from a recognised University minimum GPA of 4.5; OR Bachelor degree in Environmental Science from a recognised University minimum GPA 4.5 (students will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing) OR Graduate Certificate in Environment or Bachelor Honours degree in Environmental Science (students will be eligible for 80 credit points of advanced standing)

Study Pathways:

The Master of Environment qualification will provide a pathway to doctoral studies. Students wishing to pursue a doctorate can choose an elective 40 credit point research dissertation component in addition to the core 10 credit point Research Planning and Design course.

Recognition:

The Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) and the Certification as Environmental Practitioners (CENVP program).
