Established in 2010, Guidestar Training & Professional Services is a Registered Training Organisation that offers courses in the community sector namely Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, Certificate IV in Ageing Support and Certificate IV in Disability. This RTO also provide short courses such as First Aid, Food handling, Infection Control, Safe Manual Handling, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management. The provider is based in St. Albans but has multiple delivery locations such as in Lalor, Noble Park, Werribee and St. Albans. They provide a friendly learning environment to students and one-on-one support as needed by the students during their learning. They provide both day and evening classes in most of their locations and a weekend class only in St. Albans but only when students numbers allow. This provider ensures all work placement requirements of the qualifications they offer is met by taking the responsibility to look for placement for all students and provide clinical assessors on a weekly basis to support students during placement.
