Professional Development Mental Health Scholarship

Level of study: Postgraduate

The New South Wales Health Mental Health Branch is excited to partner with the Health Education and Training Institute Mental Health Portfolio to offer fully funded mental health scholarships. This scholarship will support workforce capabilities of New South Wales health employees working in mental health or related services. The scholarship is explicitly to support professional development students who are interested in study in the Applied Mental Health Studies professional development course. The scholarship will enable students to complete single units for professional development purposes. Please note that completing stackable credit requirements through assessment within each unit will empower students to carry completed units into an award in the future should they so choose. There is also an option to complete the unit for professional development only, but this option does not recognise the study for stackable credit. Applied Mental Health Studies units are offered completely online over a 5 week period. They are designed with flexibility to meet the needs of the health workforce who are combining study with work and other commitments.

Eligibility Requirements

New South Wales Health employees working in mental health or related health services or people working with vulnerable populations. Priority will be given to NSW Health staff working in mental health contexts.
