This course provides students with the skills and knowledge to be competent in programming and software development. With this qualification students will be able to create new software products to meet an initial project brief or customise existing software products to meet customer needs. There is a focus on mobile application development with a Windows Mobile development subject with C#, an Android mobile development subject with Java and an iPhone/iPad development subject with Objective C. Web application development is included in the three key approaches - PHP/MySQL based, Java based and C#.NET based. The diploma final stage includes a cloud computing subject.
