The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Holmesglen prepares students for a rewarding career as an Early Childhood Teacher through practical learning, professional placements and industry-focused study. Delivered at our Glen Waverley campus, this degree develops the knowledge, leadership skills and teaching practices needed to support children's learning, development and wellbeing in diverse early childhood settings. Students gain hands-on experience through professional placements and purpose-built simulation facilities. Accredited by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA), the course meets the requirements for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Early Childhood Teacher registration.

Entry requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the commencement of the course.
- IELTS overall score of 6.5 (Academic) or equivalent English language tests
- Successful completion of VCE Year 12, or overseas equivalent. Applicants can access information on whether their overseas qualification is equivalent to VCE Year 12 at Assessment of overseas qualification for VCE equivalence - Year 12 - Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority.
- Completion of an Australian VET Diploma or Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Partial or completed higher education study at a recognised university or non-university higher education provider.
