The Readiness Assessment (RA) enables you to assess your ability before entering into an Electrical Apprenticeship. The course is suitable for those who are interested in applying for an Apprenticeship within the Electrical Industry; including young school leavers wanting to enter into the Electrical Industry. The RA is delivered through our partnership with Energy Skills Australia, via the EnergySpace Learning Management System. The Readiness Assessment (RA) tool is designed to assist aspiring electrical apprentices understand how well prepared they are (in terms of their literacy and numeracy skills) for the electrical trade program. Learners, teachers and employers can quickly see where more work is required to give an apprentice the greatest chance of success in their training program. The RA also offers support pathways appropriate for the individual's skill profile.

Structure

Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards
