Certificate III in Advanced English for Further Study

This course is for people from language backgrounds other than English who have post-intermediate English language skills. Students will develop the English language speaking, listening, reading and writing skills that will help you participate in further training in vocational areas.

Entry Requirements:

No minimum education; However the qualification is designed for people who have minimum English language proficiency of 2+ on the International Second Language Proficiency Ratings (ISLPRr) scale, or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5 or equivalent.

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Use English to produce a variety of spoken texts for further study; Listen and respond to a variety of English texts for further study purposes; Read and respond to a variety of English texts for further study purposes; Use English to write a variety of texts for further study purposes. Electives: Identify and apply features of English grammar; Prepare for lELTS writing test; Develop a personal action plan for environmental sustainability; Examine and report on the changing role of women; Design and produce text documents; plus more.
