International College of Hotel Management (ICHM)

Established 1992 in partnership with Swiss Hotel Association (SHA) and the South Australian Government, the International College of Hotel Management (ICHM) prepares students for a successful career in the international hotel industry.

ICHM offers 'One Program - Two Degrees': the Bachelor of Business - Hospitality Management and the Bachelor of International Hotel Management (Swiss Hotel Association). Students can choose to graduate with a single or double degree.

To complete the program students spend six months each year studying full-time on the campus; the second six months of each year they are sent for industry placements which can be in Australia or overseas. While on campus, students study an advanced business program applicable to hospitality environments as well as other related industries. 

All new students can apply to live in ICHM's modern on-campus accommodation complex comprised of villa style apartments.

The first SHA school outside of Europe; its graduates are now on every continent working as supervisors and specialists through to senior and general managers.par par FEE-HELP is available for eligible students (Australian citizens).

Description ICHM is the only institution in Australia authorised to issue the Swiss Hotel Association (SHA) degree; for more than 125 years the SHA have set the standards in hotel management education. During the ICHM program students complete 'One Program, Two Degrees', this includes Bachelor of International Hotel Management (Swiss Hotel Association) and Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management); students also undertake industry placements during each year of study. ICHM scholarships assist students by providing additional financial support, allowing them to undertake their studies at a reduced cost, or use the scholarship for the on campus accommodation.
Eligibility The scholarships are open to Australian residents who have recently completed Year 12 and are under the age of 22. Australian citizens who live offshore are eligible to apply for the Australian Scholarship. Assessment criteria include school reports, references and short answer questions. Finalists will then be assessed by a panel interview.
