This 4-year course introduces students to the fundamentals of psychology, neuroscience, and scientific research through hypothesis driven data collection and thesis submission. Students will explore areas of psychology such as perception, cognition, learning, motivation, evolutionary psychology, psychopathology, and social development of an individual across their lifespan to gain an understanding of human nature and the mind.
The course structure is based on eight full-time semesters (each of 12 weeks' duration), with four units taught in each semester.
Standard entry requirements
VCE Units 3 and 4 with a study score of at least 20 in one of Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics, Psychology or Physics.
