Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education
The Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education has four core subjects: Health Education and Self-Management; Foundations of Clinical Diabetes; Applied Clinical Diabetes Education; and Diabetes Education Professional Practice. You will have opportunities to apply and advance your knowledge during clinical placement alongside leading industry professionals. Enhance your existing health qualifications and provide effective self-management education to people with or at risk of diabetes. Deliver diabetes-oriented services and engage with high-risk communities. Gain real-world experience with clinical placements that equip you to work in rural and remote communities. Upon graduating, you will be eligible to gain accreditation with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA).

- AQF Level 7 bachelor degree or equivalent in clinical-based health, allied health or relevant field
