This program is an internationally accredited course that promotes an interdisciplinary approach to studying the marine environment. It incorporates key elements of marine biology, oceanography, marine geoscience and environmental management to provide students with the knowledge and practical skills applicable to a wide range of marine specialities. Students can tailor their degrees to match their interests and career aspirations by selecting specialist subjects and/or minors.

Standard entry requirements
Year 12 or equivalent. Assumed knowledge: English (Units 3/4,C), Mathematical methods (Units 3/4,C), Chemistry (Units 3/4,C). Recommended: At least one of Biology, Earth and environmental science, Geography, Marine Science, Specialist maths or Physics (Units 3/4,C). Students without Chemistry (Units 3/4,C) or Mathematical methods (Units 3/4,C) must take Chemistry and/or Mathematics preparatory subjects in their first year of study.
