Students will develop advanced assessment and clinical skills in the broad context of rehabilitation. The main areas of physiotherapy practice included are orthopaedics, neurology and cardio-respiratory physiotherapy across the lifespan.
Rural and remote practitioners who require specialist generalist skills, including clinical reasoning and evidence-based physiotherapy management for rehabilitation following trauma and for chronic conditions
12 credit points. This course is offered part-time and externally only. Some subjects may require limited face-to-face attendance on campus in Townsville.

Standard entry requirements
- AQF level 7 bachelor degree in a relevant health discipline
- Or a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology completed at an Australian University
- Or equivalent.
