This program is concerned primarily with the transport of patients via a properly managed aeromedical evacuation system. It provides students with an overview of the knowledge, skills and attitudes required for the successful management of aeromedical retrieval in the Australian and global context. This course is designed particularly for doctors, nurses and paramedics involved in the emergency transport of patients by fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. It provides students with the knowledge and skills to manage aeromedical retrieval in domestic and international situations.
