This program includes advanced topics in psychology to develop professional competencies and knowledge bases. Students also work in small groups to conduct an independent research project that culminates in a thesis.

Standard entry requirements
- Completion, within 10 years of application, of an AQF level 7 bachelor degree, including a 3-year sequence in psychology accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council
- And a minimum credit average in all level 2 and 3 psychology subjects taken as part of that degree
- Or equivalent.

Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).
Study pathways
Graduates who wish to become fully registered as psychologists, must complete two years of supervised practice in the field or an accredited masters degree and a further year of supervised practice.
