Standard entry requirements

  • Completion of a four-year Bachelor of Engineering at AQF Level 7 (or equivalent) in any discipline
  • Or Completion of three years of the Bachelor of Engineering at Xi’an University of Technology (XUT) approved under the JCU-XUT Articulation Schedule only. Note: Entry for Master of Engineering (Professional) in Water Resource Management
  • Internet of Things and Data Engineering
  • And Electrical and Renewable Energy majors require completion of a four-year Bachelor of Engineering at AQF Level 7 (or equivalent) in a discipline cognate to the major.


Students completing this course will be accredited by Engineers Australia for Stage 1 competency standards to work as graduate engineers.

Study pathways

Completion of this course will prepare students for Stage 2 competency standards for professional engineers as prescribed by Engineers Australia.
