The Master of Engineering (Professional) is designed to produce job-ready graduates with competencies in advanced engineering techniques and with the broader skill sets and attributes (such as knowledge of data science, risk and safety engineering, assets managements, conflict resolution and leadership) required to work and succeed as professional engineers. Students will complete basic and advanced discipline specific engineering subjects, an engineering thesis, and industry experience as required by Engineers Australia.
48 credit points by coursework. Students must complete 110 days of industry experience and must hold a current Apply First Aid certificate at the time of graduation.

Standard entry requirements
Completion of a four-year AQF level 7 Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) in any discipline cognate with the major being studied.
Students completing this course will be accredited by Engineers Australia for Stage 1 competency standards to work as graduate engineers.
Completion of this course will prepare students for Stage 2 competency standards for professional engineers as prescribed by Engineers Australia.
