The scholarship was established from the estate of the late David Hastings.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent visa holders; be residing north of the 22nd degree of south latitude in Queensland (above a line from St Lawrence through Muttaburra); be full-time undergraduate students of the university; and have a physical disability or other impairment. Selection is based on academic merit, character and whether the candidate has or will receive any other scholarship assistance.
