North Queensland Gas Pipeline Regional Women's Scholarship

North Queensland Gas Pipeline (NQGP) is committed to supporting women to enter non-traditional professions such as engineering. To assist with this commitment, NQGP is establishing a scholarship program for regional women, who can demonstrate financial disadvantage, and a requirement to relocate to undertake a degree in engineering.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be domestic students, i.e. Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens and holders of a permanent visa; enrolled full time in Bachelor of Engineering (honours) at James Cook University; be female; be in need of financial support; intend to major in Mechanical; Reside in the following Council areas and need to relocate to study: Hinchinbrook Shire, Burdekin Shire, Palm Island Shire, Charters Towers Region, Flinders Shire, Richmond Shire, McKinlay Shire, Cloncurry Shire, Mount Isa region.

Amount $6,000

The scholarship is valued at $6,000 for up to 4 years.
