Youth Justice First Nations Scholarship
James Cook University (JCU)
The scholarship will assist Youth Justice by increasing the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce to continue to build on cultural capability and competence within the department. This scholarship is subject to the provisions of James Cook University's Coursework Scholarships, Bursaries and Grants Policy.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens, or permanent residents; be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent; and be in their final year of full-time or part-time studies in the area of psychology or social work.
Amount | $15,000 The scholarship is valued at $15,000, which includes $10,000 towards study expenses paid in 2 equal instalments after census date of Study Period 1 and Study Period 2. The remainder as payment for a 4 week placement. |
