Established in 1991, JB Hunter Technology is a Registered Training Organisation that offers training in telecommunications. It specialises in developing and presenting telecommunications training courses with a particular emphasis on customer premises, voice and data services. It delivers training in all Australian states and territories to over fifty thousand clients. Its scope of registration approves the delivery of Nationally Recognised Training from Certificate II, III and IV level to Diploma and Advanced Diploma. The provider takes a flexible approach including Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), eLearning, work-based and face-to-face training to cater for various learning styles and experience levels. JB Hunter Technology understand that the telecommunications scene in Australia is changing rapidly, particularly with the roll out of the National Broadband Network (NBN). It aims to ensure that its team and resources are in step with the latest technology and industry practice. It keeps track of the shifting demands placed on the telecommunications industry and will tailor training to suit this. The provider aims to provide small business, independent contractors and large organisations with cost effective training that minimises down time and maximises productivity. They also recognise the complex nature of the corporate world. Telstra, ISGM, Visionstream, 3M, NBN Co, TE Connectivity, and the Department of Defence are just some of the organisations that recognise its training. Course instructors are experienced industry practitioners. Clients include various government departments at all levels, and private businesses covering the complete spectrum of telecommunications, security and fire alarm.
