JobCo. Training was established in 1994 as a Registered Training Organisation. JobCo. Training delivers an extensive range of Nationally Accredited Courses from their scope of registration in accordance with the AQTF, VRQA and Skills First requirements. The training programs currently include classroom and workplace/traineeship delivery across a variety of JobCo. sites throughout Melbourne. Brunswick, Moonee Ponds, Moorabbin, Broadmeadows, Balwyn, Footscray, Fitzroy, Frankston, Dandenong and Rosebud. All trainer/assessors are professionals in their respective industries. Each brings their own experiences and passion and a working knowledge of the specific industry, which enable them to deliver and assess using flexible approaches. The team at JobCo. RTO Recognition Policy
Purposepar The purpose of this policy is to ensure that JobCo. Training undertakes recognition of student attainment. Such attainment may have been accomplished during formal or informal learning.
Authoritypar This policy is issued on the authority of the Corporate Governance Manager.
Responsibilitypar Implementation of this policy is the responsibility of the RTO Quality Assurance Coordinator. The RTO Coordinator contributes to operational implementation of this policy.
Scopepar This policy is relevant to all JobCo. Training services staff.
Reviewpar This Policy will be reviewed as required to meet the requirements for registration as a Registered Training Organisation in accordance with the requirements of the registering body, the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority.
Policy Statementpar JobCo. Training will recognise student attainment of competency prior to enrolment in a training product on the JobCo. Training scope of registration throughpar - Recognising the AQF Qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other RTOs when a student makes an application for recognition. This is referred to as National Recognition.par - Implementation of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment for students who make an application.
Applications for National Recognition and RPL can be made at any time during a student's enrolment, however, applications must be made and completed prior to training commencing in a unit for which RPL or National Recognition application has been made. RPL or National Recognition applications will not be accepted for units in which a student has commenced training.
Where a student has previously enrolled with JobCo. Training and has completed units of competence which can be recognised in a current enrolment, the National Recognition process may be implemented without application. Students will not be
