Eligibility Requirements

Applicants for Academic Excellence Scholarships at John Paul College are generally required to sit the ACER Scholarship Examination. Level 1: Designed for students who sit the test for entry into Years 7 and 8. Level 2: Designed for students who sit the test for entry into Years 9, 10 and 11. In addition to the above requirements, eligibility for an Academic Excellence Scholarship will be conditional on several outcomes. As a general rule, students will need to achieve a certain percentile level to receive a 50% remission (over 95th percentile) or for 25% remission (over 90th percentile).
