Established in Geelong in 1952, Karingal Training is a Registered Training Organisation and is one of the largest community service providers in Victoria. , Karingal was established to improve the quality of life for people with a disability by providing and promoting valued services, care and supports. As a not-for-profit registered training organisation, Karingal Training delivers practical, job relevant training to students from all backgrounds. Their expert team is focused on giving students the skills and knowledge needed to start their new career. Karingal Training offers a range of qualifications and short courses in areas such as; Community Services, Disability, Mental Health, Youth Work, Alcohol & other Drugs, Aged Care, Home Care, Hospitality and Training & Assessment. Karingal Training also deliver a range of General Education and Work Ready programs that are designed to assist learners at foundation level to improve language and literacy, transition into the community or the workplace, and develop the skills required for employment. Training is delivered within communities across Victoria, in addition Karingal Training has permanent training centres located in Geelong, Corio, Werribee, Glen Waverley, Sunshine and Warrnambool.
