The Bachelor of Paramedic Practice with Honours is a four year course. The common first year can be attended in the regional campuses with the remaining three years held at the Bendigo campus. Students are scaffolded with the knowledge and the skills throughout the course. Entry Requirements:

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in two of Biology, Chemistry, Health And Human Development, any Mathematics, Physical Education, Physics or Psychology.

La Trobe encourages students to participate in overseas study programs including nursing in Nepal, nanotechnology in Tokyo, and Indigenous studies in the Philippines. In 2016, La Trobe awarded travel grants and scholarships to 950 undergraduate and postgraduate students to study with partners like National University of Singapore, San Diego State University and Stockholm University.
