Get the skills, experience and confidence you need to make a real impact as a qualified teacher from your first day with La Trobe's accredited Bachelor of Education (Nexus). You'll learn how to manage classrooms, design class plans and guide students by spending at least 80 days in schools and education centres across metropolitan, regional and rural Victoria. You'll also be supported with dedicated university mentors to help guide you through your classroom experience. We are committed to social justice and diversity. With campuses across metropolitan, regional and rural Victoria, we collaborate with a range of communities on the things that matter most to them and us. This government-funded program is only available for Educational Support (ES) staff and Koorie Engagement Support Officers (KESO) and specifically designed to address teacher shortages in regional, rural, and hard-to-staff schools.
