Structure
Complete a total of at least two years of full-time study or its part-time equivalent. To qualify for the award of Master of Art Therapy, students must complete a total 240 core credit point.

Entry requirements
- Postgraduate: Prerequisites - Course specific requirements - Applicants must provide a written application and submit a portfolio demonstrating their skills with a range of visual art media (Compilation of 10-15 photographs of your own original artwork).
- Postgraduate: Prerequisites - Course specific requirements - Prospective students who do not meet the counselling skills requirements for entry into the Master of Art Therapy may pathway through a completion of a Counselling skills short course.
- Postgraduate: Prerequisites - Course specific requirements - Specialisation - compulsory: Fine arts, graphic design, art education, psychology, counselling, social work, occupational therapy, health science or nursing.
- Postgraduate: Prerequisites - Undergraduate requirements - Successful completion of an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent).
- International: IELTS - 7.5 < 7.0 - 7.5 IELTS (Academic) with no individual band less than 7.0.
