Bring the human touch to technology. Disruptive technologies are reshaping our lives. We work, learn, live and innovate faster than ever before. Machine learning, the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence have made it possible. Emerging technology's role in our lives is growing, but so are the ethical issues surrounding digital disruption. Tech skills are not enough. Employers need science and technology pioneers with a human perspective. People who can identify and solve issues raised by new technologies. People who'll respond to urgent questions about ethics, inequality and sustainability. La Trobe's Bachelor of Humanities, Innovation and Technology is on the forefront of offering that unique blend of skills. Study a combination of humanities, business and STEM subjects. You'll build a foundation of technical knowledge enhanced by creative, communication and critical thinking skills. Think topics on environmental science, the science fiction imagination, cyber law and policy, and the philosophy of virtual reality. Specially designed core subjects let you build a portfolio of work to present to future employers. Create localised activism campaigns. Work on global-minded movements you care about. Apply for prestigious awards and scholarships. Throughout your degree, you'll learn through ambitious real-world projects that give you the skills and experience to adapt to new challenges. Thanks to our partnerships with Cisco, DXC, IBM, Optus and Tech One, you'll see how technology heavyweights work firsthand. Build hands-on experience with placement opportunities with all our partners, and kickstart your career with the opportunity to interview at some of our partner companies upon graduation.
