Core: Prepare, maintain and test response equipment; Respond to wildfire; Prevent injury; Work in a team. Electives: Communicate in the workplace; Respond to urban fire; Check installed fire safety systems; Operate breathing apparatus open circuit; Participate in community safety activities; Work safely around aircraft; Rappel from helicopter; Assist with prescribed burning; Use Class A foam in wildfire operations and non-structural applications; Undertake hover-exit operations from helicopter; Respond to isolated structure fire; Protect and preserve incident scene; Participate in a rescue operation; plus more.
