This program is designed to give students practical financial skills and the ability to apply them in accounting-focused careers. They will study economics and accounting principles, systems, management and reporting. In the final years students will study corporate accounting and reporting, auditing and assurance, corporations and revenue law and further accounting electives.

The Bachelor of Commerce - Professional Accounting provides an excellent foundation for a range of accounting-based careers. The professional accounting program is accredited by CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and the National Institute of Accountants (NIA).

The combined degree is suitable for those looking to work as stockbrokers, financial analysts, management consultants, portfolio managers, investment bankers, financial planners, or in similar roles in the financial sector. Competency in mathematics is highly desirable. This course is only available in internal attendance mode.
