This double degree combines security analysis with advanced skills in quantitative analysis, business information systems and database programming to enable students to draw valuable insights from big data sources and answer some of today's most difficult questions in security and business. Technological advancements have led to an increase in the amount of consumer data generated every day, as well as improvements in the ability of organisations and governments to capture, store and use such data. This data revolution has increased the employment demand for people with the abilities to extract value from these sources of data. The Bachelor of Business Analytics is a multidisciplinary program that equips students with knowledge and skills in the areas of quantitative analysis, business information systems, database programming and business. Knowledge and skills in these areas will provide students with the tools to derive insights of value from big data sources.
