This program will prepare students for a career in psychology, law or academia. They will study cognitive processes, development and learning as well as areas of human sciences. It involves five years of accredited undergraduate study, followed by an honours year in which students complete a research thesis and advanced coursework units in psychology. This degree will give students skills in the areas of community services and health care such as counselling, community-based care, disability services, health policy and education. Furthermore it will help students understand why people behave the way they do and what motivates behaviours and social trends.

  • And a minimum of 72 credit points. Applicants for the fourth year who do not meet these requirements may also be considered on an individual basis.

Majors offered include Community Services with a focus on health, social policy, psychology and human services, or Human Movement which will prepare students for postgraduate study in physiotherapy and audiology.
