Master of Counter Terrorism and Master of Intelligence

The practice-oriented Master of Counter Terrorism will prepare you to analyse real-world counterterrorism challenges. Youll learn about the theory and practice of counterterrorism studies; the emerging domestic, regional and international challenges related to terrorism and their implications for counterterrorism approaches and policies; and the evolution of Australias counterterrorism strategies and policies. The Master of Intelligence will equip you with a practical skill set, enabling you to analyse real-world intelligence challenges. Youll also develop a deep understanding of the evolution of Australias intelligence community, as well as the emerging domestic, regional and international challenges that surround intelligence.

Entry requirements

  • AQF level 8 bachelor honours or graduate diploma qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent or
  • Meet two of the following three criteria: AQF level 7 bachelors qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent
  • Minimum two years relevant approved work experience at senior management level, professional certification or other recognised prior learning
  • AQF level 7 bachelors qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65
  • AQF level 8 bachelor honours or graduate diploma qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent or
  • Meet two of the following three criteria: AQF level 7 bachelors qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent
