The Graduate Certificate of Laws provides focused foundational knowledge and skills training for non-lawyers. It provides preparation for further postgraduate study in law (via relevant pathways into the Graduate Diploma of Laws, Juris Doctor, Master of Laws, Master of International Trade and Commerce Law or Master of International Law, Governance and Public Policy), in addition to building skills relevant to current work environments. The program emphasises critical thinking, research, analytical and judgement skills, as well as developing the capacity to work in a self-directed way, thereby enhancing your ability to study at postgraduate level and deal with real-world legal and policy challenges.
