This program consists of three anatomy units and a medical research component. Students can further develop their knowledge of clinical anatomy to help prepare for a surgical or other relevant advanced health profession career. Two of the three anatomy units will be delivered online and the third will involve an intensive 16 day period at Macquarie University where whole body dissection will be undertaken in the laboratories at ASAM.

  • 16 credit points granted through RPL (from formal and informal training evidenced from academic qualification or work experience)

  • Australian level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent in medicine/surgery, dentistry, veterinary science, nursing, physiotherapy, radiography, or a related science/health discipline
  • Formal training of anatomy or one year full-time equivalent work experience in an anatomy-related field
