This program allows students to learn about ancient civilizations. It will provide them with a foundation in Ancient History, and the possibility to advance into the Master of Ancient History. Units are offered on Ancient Greece, Rome, Egypt, Israel, Early Christianity, Coptic, Late Antiquity. Ancient languages such as Ancient Greek, Latin, Hieroglyphs, Coptic, and Hebrew may be taken as part of the program. The program will cater for students who wish to further their studies from their love of Ancient History, support specific professional development (eg. teachers), and prepare students for entry to the Master of Ancient Hsitory. Foundational units are offered for students who enter the program without a relevant major in their degree. Students may advance from the Graduate Certificate into the Graduate Diploma or Master of Ancient History.
