This program builds the capacity to make an effective contribution to the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative, evidence-based, solutions to challenges arising from changing educational environments. Students are able specialise in one of three areas: Advanced Practices in Learning and Teaching, ICT in Education, or Leadership. The program will develop skills in three key abilities: to access the most up to date sources of research and scholarship in a specialist area, to analyse and synthesise this sometimes highly technical literature, and to effectively communicate the results to both academic and non-academic audiences. Subjects are designed to refine and enhance knowledge and skills by applying them to authentic problems, tasks, and scenarios. Knowledge management, critical thinking, and communicative capabilities acquired through this degree will serve not only to enhance the educational institution in which students work and the capacities of their professional community, it will also to lay the foundation for their own lifelong learning.
