Massey University

Type of institution: University/Higher Education Institution
Level: Undergraduate

Both the BA and BBS give students the opportunity to choose areas they are interested in, but to spend the first year exploring areas of interest before they decide on an area to focus on. The first step is to make sure that students enrol in both business and arts papers in their first year - students can then apply at the end of their first year to study towards the conjoint degree. Students with good results from Secondary School may be admitted directly in their first year to study towards the conjoint degree.

This course consist of 480 credits studied over a period of at least four years of full-time study. Also available via Distance Learning. The BA/BBS conjoint degree programme allows students to graduate with both degrees at the end of four years of full-time study. Students must study for both degrees concurrently, taking at least one paper from each degree each year, pass all papers, and maintain a Grade Point Average of at least 4.0 (equivalent to a B- grade) each year to remain in the programme.
