Indigenous Scholarship

Mater Education is proud to offer rare scholarship opportunity for some eligible students from an Indigenous background. Scholarships are awarded on merit, and are available to eligible students commencing in the January or July intake.
Eligibility Requirements
- confirmed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identity - all entry requirements for acceptance into the program are met - experience and merit - attendance at an interview with Mater Education. The aim of the interview is to present why you would be the best candidate to receive the scholarship to assist you in your studies. Mater Education will arrange for a representative from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Unit to attend the interview if requested by the applicant. - applicants are to provide written responses to five selection criteria linked to the Mater Values. Applicants are required to write approximately 150 words per criteria, with a maximum word count of 800 words in total
