This program provides an academic program with extensive content and theory for real-world industry projects, involving key staff from the hospitality, tourism and events industry. It focuses on the skills required to manage hotels, motels, restaurants, convention facilities and events in a range of business environments. It includes industry visits, industry speakers and visits to government and industry research sites. Students are involved in work integrated learning and participate in the development and management of real events and projects in order to gain hands-on experience.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 VCE or equivalent with English; or VET Diploma in hospitality management or equivalent; or relevant industry experience

Study Pathways:

Students may be eligible for Credit, Credit Transfer and Recognised Prior Learning based on previous education and work experience.

Alternative entry: relevant employment / experience can include industry experience in areas such as hospitality, sales and marketing, retail, customer service, local government, tourism, events, or winery operations and demonstrated capacity to undertake work at degree level. International students must have IELTS Level 6.
