Melbourne Polytechnic - A place to thrive

Melbourne Polytechnic is Australia’s first true polytechnic, with over 100 years of history. We deliver over 300 industry-relevant and nationally accredited programs that give you the best of both worlds – theoretical learning combined with hands-on experience. We offer certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, and bachelor and masters degrees, in a vast range of study areas. Our six campuses in Melbourne are easily accessible via public transport – you’ll find us in Preston, Greensborough, Epping, Heidelberg, Fairfield, Prahran and Collingwood. Our Greensborough Campus has been recently renovated with state-of-the-art training facilities and simulation suites for our health and community courses.

What sets us apart? To succeed in today’s evolving workplace, you need a quality qualification, transferable skills, experience and the right mindset. We deliver courses that include work placements, industry connections, simulations of real work environments, overseas study opportunities and industry-experienced teachers. Our smaller class sizes mean you’ll get more individual teaching time. Our teachers care about your learning – many are experts in their fields so you’ll have a wealth of information at your fingertips.

Be a part of the great student services we offer – SLAM (student life and media) and events, libraries, cafeterias, childcare, tutoring, Koorie Services, disability support, the Preston Fitness Centre and on-campus accommodation.
