Restricted electrical licences allow a person to carry out electrical work incidental to a trade. Incidental work may include fault-finding on equipment or changing like for like equipment by disconnecting and reconnecting the fixed wiring. Achievement of the unit 'CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry' from the CPC08 Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package fulfils this requirement.

Standard entry requirements

To enter this qualification, individuals must provide evidence of their technical skills in either costume, lighting, scenery and props, screen and media, sound, stage management, staging or vision systems and the ability to:develop solutions in at least one technical areaproduce a body of work demonstrating skills in at least one technical area respond effectively to workplace challenges and requirements in line with current industry standards apply knowledge of trends and traditions in at least one technical area,and have completed CUAWHS302 Apply work health and safety practices or can demonstrate equivalence.Those skills and knowledge may have been acquired through personal or work experience, or through formal study.
