A double degree course in Business gives students an opportunity to study complementary areas to give them genuine depth of study across business disciplines; build their portfolio of skills by studying different disciplines; and tailor their degree to increase their employability. This course leads to two separate degrees. Students will be awarded: Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Marketing. Students will gain all the benefits of each degree and be fully equipped to pursue a career in a broad range of business fields in Australia and around the world. The comprehensive and flexible Business degree offers a variety of majors to choose from. The Marketing degree provides students with the analytic, creative and strategic skills to be a specialist marketer. Students will gain comprehensive marketing knowledge and learn how to use this to make decisions that drive value for business. Students could consider pairing marketing with complementary studies in international business to give students knowledge of local and international markets; or develop their management expertise to give students a competitive edge in their future marketing career. Marketing is a dynamic, complex activity that focuses on providing value to both organisations and consumers. Additional opportunities, such as international exchange and internships are also available, to give students practical experience before they graduate.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 or equivalent; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in any other English, and Units 3 & 4: a study score of at least 22 in Mathematical Methods (any) or Specialist Mathematics, or 25 in Further Mathematics

Structure:

Students must complete 192 points, of which 96 points are from the Bachelor of Business (including all the requirements in Part A and B for the single degree) and 96 points from the Bachelor of Marketing (including all of the requirements in Part A, B and C for the single degree).
