A double degree course in Commerce and Arts gives students skills to commercialise artistic endeavours or apply commercial knowledge across different industry sectors. Students will have genuine diversity of choice, with more than 30 majors and minors on offer, options are only limited by imagination. Combine Economics and Politics or Philosophy as a great launching pad for a political career or a Marketing Science and Psychology to understand why people buy certain products or group Management Studies and Music to have the skills to manage a band or work for a record label. This course leads to two separate degrees: Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts. Students gain all the benefits of each degree and are fully equipped to pursue a career in either field separately or combine the two in chosen work. Their career options will depend on the combination of majors or minors that students choose, and will open up a diverse range of opportunities.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 or equivalent; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English, and a study score of at least 25 in Mathematical Methods (any) or Specialist Mathematics


Students must complete 192 points, of which 96 points are from the Bachelor of Commerce (including all the requirements in Part A and B for the single degree) and 96 points are from the Bachelor of Arts (including all the requirements in Part A and B for the single degree).

Our graduates can be found in a range of commercial roles within creative companies or corporations. They are also working across international relations or trade, politics and government, environmental research and planning, the media, arts, advertising, health or have launched their own companies.


A Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor Arts allows graduates to satisfy the educational requirements of various professional registrations and memberships (depending on the units taken).
