Study pathways

Graded AQF Diplomas will be considered for entry into this course. Admission will be based on academic merit and applicants should have at least a minimum average of 60% (Peninsula) and 65% (Clayton). For entry into second year, students with prior studies of a Diploma of Nursing will also be required to demonstrate that they hold current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia registration as an Enrolled Nurse. Programs that involve competency-based assessment without grades or marks will not meet the admission requirements. These are minimum requirements, admissions to this course are competitive and applicants may need to meet a higher requirement to be offered a place.Important note for applicants with a graded Diploma of Nursing and current registration with AHPRA as a Enrolled Nurse you may be eligible for entry into second year and should apply via VTAC for entry into the Nursing 2nd Year Diploma entry (Clayton Campus VTAC course code: 2800311841, Peninsula Campus VTAC course code: 2800711841)
