Bachelor of Radiography and Medical Imaging (Honours)

This course provides academic and clinical skills in the modes of technology used by radiographers. Graduates are eligible for registration upon completion of the course. Students will study a set structure of units within the major studies areas. Clinical studies are incorporated into each year of the course so that students have access to a range of modalities and clinical placement options.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 or equivalent; Units 3 & 4: a study score of at least 35 in English (EAL) or 30 in any other English and a study score of at least 25 in physics or biology and mathematical methods (any) or specialist mathematics satisfy the immunisation requirements specified by the Faculty; complete a National Police check each year and hold valid Working with Children check


To broaden career opportunities, a range of selective research studies is available in year four of the course. Clinical placements commence in first semester of first year and continue throughout all four years of the course.

First Aid Course: Students are required to undertake a Level 1 first aid course (including CPR) before undertaking clinical placements.


Accredited by Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR); Graduates register as radiographers with the Medical Radiation Practitioners Board of Victoria
