The Monash Master of Legal Studies is designed to equip non lawyers with the legal skills and knowledge you need to make better managerial and commercial decisions and to lead your organisation effectively. This course provides you with the legal knowledge that will give you a competitive edge in your chosen career. You can choose to focus on one of nine specialised areas to gain an understanding of the law and how it shapes commercial and public decisions in todays global environment.

Entry requirements
- Entry level 1:
- An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with at least a credit (60%) average in a cognate discipline approved by the faculty or
- An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with at least a credit (60%) average, plus relevant professional experience.
- Entry level 2:
- An Australian bachelor honours degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline approved by the faculty or
- An Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent) with at least credit (60%) average plus either an Australian graduate diploma (or equivalent) in Law or a cognate discipline approved by the faculty or
- An Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent) with at least credit (60%) average in a cognate discipline approved by the faculty and at least 1 year of relevant professional experience or
- An equivalent qualification and experience approved by the faculty.
