This short course provides an understanding of the principles and practices associated with interpreting in mental health settings. The short course examines the principles and practices associated with interpreting in mental health settings. Topics covered include common mental illnesses, how clinical psychologists work with clients, an overview of the mental health system, neuropsychology, working with survivors of trauma, and what constitutes best interpreting practice in these settings.
