The use of qualitative research methods into program evaluations, clinical trials and other public health projects is increasingly common. Qualitative inquiry brings a richness of human experience and perspective that cannot be captured through quantitative data, and is vital to understanding and improving the patient experience of health and healthcare. This short course provides an introduction to the theories, concepts and practice of qualitative research. you will gain practical skills in employing qualitative research designs, data collection and analysis. In particular, you will learn how to meaningfully incorporate qualitative research with other research methods and study designs.
