Travel Medicine Masterclass (Short Course)

The Travel Medicine Masterclass aims to provide practical guidance on management of travellers before and after travel, with a focus on pre travel vaccines, management of malaria chemoprophylaxis, and other common travel associated health issues. This course will focus on practical management aspects of common pre travel health care issues. It will include discussion of indications for travel vaccines; management of travellers diarrhea and malaria chemoprophylaxis; and aspects of non infectious issues such as jet lag and altitude medicine. It will also include cases focusing on how to approach the unwell returned traveller.
